We provide an Horizon Scanning service for upcoming FCA issues.

Our current focus is working with ARs looking to become authorised by the FCA as a result of increasing oversight demands and associated costs by Principals.

The Previous Horizon Scanning Topic: The Consumer Duty

The Consumer Duty will continue to drive FCA action through 2025 as they reflect on the findings from the senior management reviews of performance at the end of 2024.

CORDComply can assist your firm in reviewing the data you have collected to date and advise on how best to structure the management information to ensure the reports required by the board are fit for purpose and achieve the objective of demonstrating compliance with The Consumer Duty.

Boards are required to annually attest they are satisfied that good customer outcomes are being delivered by the firm.

The FCA expect a report and supporting management information to be in place in support of the board attestation.

The challenge for firms is how to ensure they have a proportionate and accurate view of how you are treating and responding to customers?

We can actively support you at board level by adding a rigorous external view of the Consumer Duty compliance environment and challenging your data and reporting standards, giving you the comfort that you can answers the questions the FCA may pose and demonstrate compliance.
